Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Officer to drive customer acquisition, business development, and revenue growth within the animal nutrition and animal protein ingredients market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and achieve revenue targets.
- Develop new customers and manage key accounts.
- Build strong relationships across the feed, poultry, aqua, and livestock sectors.
- Identify market and business development opportunities.
- Manage assigned sales territory and grow revenue.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Animal Science, Agriculture, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in animal nutrition, animal feed, feed additives, animal protein ingredients, or a related industry.
- Strong industry network across feed, poultry, aqua, and livestock sectors.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Good commercial awareness and business development skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Must be based in Kano or willing to work from Kano.
